OSI Group is one of the largest meat processing companies in the world that serves a number of different food industries across continents. The company has set up it’s headquarter in Aurora in Illinois and has more than 50 facilities in about 17 countries including Europe, China and much more. The company was established in the year 1909 and has revenues in billions over many years. OSI Group employees’ more than 20,000 employees directly and have millions who are indirectly depended on them.

The food industry has diversified needs, and they have a broad range of products that they offer to their clients. Some of the products that they offer are fish, meat patties, pizza, poultry and many different fresh vegetables and fruits. David McDonald said that the company has skilled teams that help in facilitating the operations at various places. The global teams work in collaboration with the local teams to ensure that the operations are perfectly executed.
The biggest operation of the company is in China where the company has been operating for the last 20 years. Currently, the company has eight fully functional factories and another two in their construction stage. Once these two are completed, the company is set to become the largest poultry product in the continent with top fast food brands as its top clients. According to David McDonald, China is a big market, and they aim to use its growing economy to push their products further into the market.
